Worn Again specializes in textile recycling, utilizing cutting-edge technology that recaptures raw materials from non-reusable products. Their mission is to use this technology to propel the shift to a more circular, sustainable economy.
The Challenge
Since it’s in everyone’s best interest for this kind of technology to become as widespread as possible, Worn Again needed to become a company that could easily scale. Before we started working with them, their IT systems and network were significantly holding them back in this regard.
For starters, their Microsoft Office suites and security policies weren’t quite up to scratch, limiting the extent to which they could take advantage of cloud technologies. Without reliable backup, security, and software archiving, effective scalability couldn’t realistically be achieved.
The overall IT set-up was also lacking in general efficiency. This was mostly due to the use of outdated technologies and suboptimal software, which were becoming an increasing hindrance for the staff and engineers of Worn Again.
